Oh, Corsets!
Those magnificent, feminine pieces that every girl wants to have but we all know how hard it is to find the perfect one.
The one which fits perfectly, is made out of right fabrics , that really accentuate figure and that will last long... You know: THE ONE we really fall in love with.
Well I managed to find the perfect one in True Corset store. To tell the truth, each one they make is the perfect one. I can tell you for sure that they are my favorite corset brand! I own so many of their pieces and they all fantastic.
I will show you how to style the same corset in two different ways. Mainly because there is a misconception about corsets not being versatile. Believe me, they are.
On the first look is a romantic one. The kind of look to take your love's breath away when on a romantic dinner date.
I combined this perfect corset with a long silk and lace skirt from Dark in Love, a brand that is conquering our style hearths by storm. A look doesn't get more romantic than this, black and red, combo. High quality fabric is, of course, complimented by a beautiful piece of jewelry, like this hand crafted piece by a talented designer.
But, let me say that a good corset is not limited to be used just for a romantic or extravagant look. A smart and stylish person, like any of my lovely readers, will know how to style it as an everyday piece or as an armor for concerts or for any other occasion.
This next look is just one of my ideas, I would love to see the looks you created using a corset in a new and creative way.
Using the same corset I created a more badass yet simple look. Use this look for a romantic date as well if you like, not all of us are goth princesses all the time, sometimes we need to let our inner warrior show.
I used, military boots, chains and a fierce harness from Mod Ministry Merch. They are re-inventing harnesses, making them into trendy items, over and over again, without fail.
The versatility is what I value the most in a clothing item, that is why I love corsets.
They can be romantic, fierce or casual, but the important thing is what they made us fell and the confidence we can show by wearing them.
February is a romantic month, and the majority of us girls just want to look beautiful for our other half, but don't forget to dress to impress yourself. Don't forget to fall in love with your self and give your own reflection in the mirror a playful wink!
