I'm asked where I get the inspiration for my photoshoots, a lot. The answer is a bit complex because I get inspiration mainly from the clothes. I love to assemble the outfits, pick all the right items for each shoot and pose as the clothes and the mood carries me. But, there is another big influence on my creative process - the books I love.
I'm a well known bookaholic. Books are a really big and important part of my life, helping me through my ups and downs and entertaining me like nothing else does. When I'm reading I'm just in another world altogether, a fantastic world!
Some stories really influenced me and my style over the years. Gave me inspiration to be either a warrior, a goth princess or in this case, something between Snow White and Red Riding Hood.

I received this lovely Sinister cloak and the first thing that came to my mind is that I want to be a goth Red Riding Hood. She was one of my favorite characters when I was growing up. The cloak has the right vibes with the dark twist I so adore!
I know I'm repeating myself but, Sinister really has one of the shiniest velvet fabrics and I love them for that! I see myself using this piece over and over again in the future.
This outfit was really easy to put together. I just took my favorite velvet skirt and my favorite corset at the moment. Guess what? They were a perfect match!
A little bindi, a flower crown, red lipstick and I was ready to go.
Are you a bookaholic too? What's your favorite book?
